For all mothers out there, young and old, have a happy Mother’s Day!!! You deserve it and more for all the work you have put into raising your child(ren). NO words can express the sacrifice and love every mother gives to her children so we take this day to simply say thank you, Mom. For accepting God’s Call and giving us life and nourishing us and teaching us about Him. Thank you, Mommy. Here’s a story I would like to share for Mother’s Day:
A young girl approaches her Grandmother on Mother’s Day. She gives her grandma a single pink rose and says, “Happy Mother’s Day, Grandma. This is for you.”
“Thank you, sweetie,” the grandma says with a smile but stops and continues to ask, “why are you not giving this to your own mom?”
“I already congratulated her and gave her flowers but I wanted to give you this flower and congratulate you for raising my mom and making her into the best mom to me. That was only possible because you taught her well. Thank you, Grandma.” The older woman accepted the single bloom and hugged her granddaughter with tears of joy and a smile on her face.
Children, no matter how old you are take the time to thank your mom for raising you. She sacrificed a lot for you so be grateful!

It’s comforting to know that the same God that’s in control of the good times of life is still in control in the tough times of life. Our difficulties are not a surprise to Him. God will not allow a storm unless He has a divine purpose for it. Romans 8:28 promises us, “That in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (NIV) God will direct the winds of the storm to blow you where He wants you to go. We see storms as being negative, but God uses the storm to move you from point A to point B. The winds may be strong, the circumstances may look bad, but those winds will blow you to a new level of your destiny.
my favorite “keep calm” poster! God is in control and the sooner we surrender to his will the happier we’ll be :)

my grandma tells me this all the time and I am russian, hahhahah :)
God, help us to pray for anything and everything before we do it. Help this to be our instinct in a tough situation. Thank you, Amen.
